This sweet girl was my contest winner from a few months back. She is a senior at LFO and I couldn't have asked for a better day. Meghan is beautiful inside and out. We had an evening full of laughs. I am so thankful I got to meet Meghan and capture some senior portraits. Hopefully I will get to meet Matt soon for a couple session! :)

I can not believe how big this cutie is getting. It is hard to believe this adorable almost 9 month old is the little turtle baby featured on my home page. He made my job so easy, and fun! Nolan is clearly a poster child for Taylor Leigh Photography. I also got the pleasure of taking images of his family as well. They are such a sweet family. I even captured a few 'Chase smiles'. I am so thankful we were able to get together again. I also want to wish Casey good luck at boot camp. Semper Fi!

Read moreToday I got to spend time with the adorable Brady, his gorgeous mommy Merilee, and their energetic pup, Rivers. All day the weather was beautiful out, (HOT) but beautiful. We head to our first location, and of course the BOTTOM FALLS OUT! While it is pouring down rain we take shelter under the bridge thinking it's just a summer shower and will pass. We were wrong, REALLY wrong. As you can see in the pictures we were stuck there, and the rain just wouldn't stop. I hate that the weather didn't corporate. However, I know I will get back together with this bunch pretty soon to make up for today. Take a look at their cuteness, and feel free to comment.

Ever since I was in the sixth grade, I've had the pleasure of living next door to Kevin and Tara Trobaugh. When I was in the ninth grade, they welcomed Nathan into the world, and boy did he steal my heart. Later came Teagan, and lastly, Rowan (Whom were all in our wedding). Kevin and Tara are amazing parents and you can see it through the kids. It has been so much fun watching them all grow. Not only have they grown, but so has my relationship with Tara. She is a wonderful role model in my life, and more importantly a great friend.
They are in North Carolina for vacation for a few days. Therefore, I just had to get some family beach photos while there were in town. Through fighting the rain and the wind we got some pretty great images.
I'm beyond blessed to have this family in my life. I hate that my time living next door to them is coming to an end, but I am certain distance will not stop us. (Especially -- Teagan and I )

I had a day full of smiles. Days like today remind me of why I love my job so much. I got to hang out on the beach with Miss Paisley(2yrold) and Mr Makai (5yrold).
Makai was a BLAST! I don't think I stopped smiling the entire time we were shooting. He informed me that his favorite song was 'Fancy' by Iggy Azalea and proceeded to sing it for me. You can tell he is raised by a wonderful woman through his charm and politeness.
Speaking of a fun time, Paisley, sure did make sure I got my exercise in by chasing her all of the beach. She was adorable splashing, and chasing her mom. She gave great "squeezes" and pictures don't even begin to show how beautiful she is.
Over the past few days the weather here in North Carolina hasn't been very pleasant. I had many shoots lined up this week that had to be rescheduled due to lots of rain. However, today the weather was outstanding and I got to meet three new wonderful clients. Check out their images, and feel free to comment below.
This morning I started out with Cori. Cori is twenty-two just like myself, and expecting her third boy! YES THREE BOYS!! Her smile was contagious, and she was a joy getting to know.
Then came very energetic Cambrie. She is three years old, and not so fond of the big blue sea. However, we did get to splash around and have some fun with "fish" aka seashells and chasing the birds.
Lastly, four month old Alaina. She was a hoot. Trying to get her to sit up was a task indeed, but she nailed the big smiles and silly faces.
